walking redeemed together
about me
hey, i’m hannah. i’m 22 and live in sukhothai, thailand, where my family and i run a children’s home. most of my days are spent with the kids and doing the other things that come with keeping a ministry running. i handle the bookkeeping and make sure we know where the money’s going.
i have seven biological siblings and a lot more who’ve become family along the way. i love reading and i’m trying to fill my time with more useful hobbies. i’m also enjoy hanging out with my two golden retrievers, izzy and olly. i love the sun, just not the heat, and i’m slowly learning more about thai culture and life here.
a lot of times i’m just figuring out how to live life well and strengthen my relationship with God. i fail at both more than i’d like, but it’s a growing process.
this blog is a mix of everyday life, reflections, and things God’s been teaching me through different seasons. mostly, it’s a way to look back and see how He’s been faithful through it all.
the whole gang
well, 10 of us, at least.
God called us from the mountains of virgina, usa when hannah was 16 and abi was 14. but we're only two out of 8 children born naturally into our family. our twin brothers, levi and quinn, were 8 and the youngest, zachy, was just a few weeks from turning 5 when we touched down on thai soil. we tearfully left our older brothers, micah, nikolas, and alex who are now 24, 23, and 21.
but we've grown!
now we're two of THIRTY-THREE siblings as yim, kwan, phot, wind, namwan, nuu, sky, paet, han, alu, hat, bifern, ploy, leo, cho, guav, jing, chia, sue, lao, fahsai, awa, bpao, naam, and little guav have joined the ranks. there are days we struggle with being asked to do hard things, but that's where real growth happens.
grow with us!
(this is our latest family picture since having everyone together again.)
